SCORE Program for Pilots
Mental Performance Training for Aviation
The SCORE Program for Pilots is a structured mental performance training course designed to help
pilots manage stress, respond effectively to startle-surprise events, and maintain clear decision-making
under pressure.
While modern aviation training focuses heavily on procedures and systems, many incidents occur
when stress, cognitive overload, or unexpected events disrupt a pilot’s mental performance. SCORE
provides practical mental tools that help pilots remain composed and operationally effective in
demanding situations.

Anthony Hicks
– Former U.S. Naval Aviator, Falcon 50EX Captain, and aviation instructor with
extensive operational and mentoring experience.
Dr. Don Greene, Ph.D. –
Olympic performance psychologist and former U.S. Army Green Beret officer
specializing in performance under pressure.

Stress will always exist in aviation. SCORE trains the response.

The SCORE course is designed to be completed in two weeks but is fully self-paced to accommodate
the schedules of working pilots. The program combines 12 instructional chapters, a structured
workbook, and scenario-based exercises that allow pilots to practice the techniques in realistic flight
situations.
